Akeno 2021 is a structured red blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The bouquet is layered with deep red berries, vegetal tones, licorice, pebbles, and spice. Its palate unfolds with red fruit, licorice, and hints of capsicum, supported by medium tannins and acidity. Elegant and expressive, this vintage reflects the strength of Japan’s high-altitude vineyards. Best enjoyed at 15–18 °C.
