Cave d' Occi "Sable Blanc" 2024

Sable Blanc is a Cave d'Occi white, leading with Albariño alongside Riesling, Semillon, and Viognier. Albariño came to Kakudahama after a chance encounter in Spain in 2005 revealed how well the grape suited the coastal sand. Guava, apricot, and cardamom lead, then grapefruit, pear, and lychee across the palate.

Best served at 9–12 °C, off-dry, of moderate weight, its acidity neither sharp nor slack, this wine takes its name from the soil it grows in- sand.
