Akeno 2022 is a bold yet balanced red blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Deep red berry aromas are layered with vegetal notes, minerality, licorice, and spice. The palate mirrors these flavors with ripe red fruits, licorice, and a subtle capsicum nuance. Medium-bodied with polished tannins and acidity, this wine reflects the elegance of high-altitude Japanese vineyards. Best enjoyed at 15–18 °C.
